About us
The first chapter outside of Munich
OneAIM Aachen was founded in 2025 by students of RWTH Aachen who wanted to bring medicine and technology closer together. As the first chapter beyond Munich, Aachen turned OneAIM from a local initiative into a growing network across Germany. Today the team runs multiple successful programs right here in the city, hand in hand with Aachen's remarkable MedTech scene: global players like Abiomed (Johnson & Johnson MedTech), Uniklinik RWTH Aachen, a vibrant startup community and many more local and international partners.

Know what you're signing up for
Pick a program to see what it offers, and how a semester with us is built.
AIM Connect is an exclusive add-on study program for students passionate about the intersection of medicine, entrepreneurship, and technology. Over the semester, participants gain in-depth insights into the MedTech field, from hospitals and research institutions to startups and established companies.
Three key components
Every AIM Connect semester is built on three pillars: the kickoff weekend to form your cohort, regular partner visits and workshops, and a team project, built intensively at the Makeathon weekend, and pitched at the closing summit.
Kickoff Weekend
Three days to get to know your cohort: intro talks, the first 2-3 partner visits, team building and a look at the semester ahead.
Partner visits & workshops
Weekly sessions with our partners: clinicians, labs, start-ups, established companies and all other parts of MedTech innovation.
Team project: Makeathon & Summit
In interdisciplinary teams you work on a MedTech project: preparation sessions during the semester, an intensive build at the Makeathon weekend, and the final pitch at the summit.
