We build bridges between medicine, technology, and entrepreneurship

How it started

2020-2021: “LMU AIM” was developed as one of the pioneering AI initiatives in medicine by five students who, after participating in a summer school on AI in Healthcare, recognized the absence of such an initiative. The early phase saw initial industry collaborations, the development of a Coding Bootcamp, and the organization of a symposium on AI in Medicine.

2021 – 2022: We expanded our program to include extracurricular events such as a lecture series and startup visits, and celebrated our first scientific publications.

2022 – 2023: The initiative “OneAIM” was launched through the uniting forces of variable students, including contributions from the former “LMU AIM” initiative. With growing interest from various academic fields and universities, we developed a program to foster collaboration beyond a single institution, emphasizing interdisciplinary exchange and community building.

2023 – 2024: We introduced “AIM Connect”, an intensive MedTech add-on study program, and hosted the inaugural OneAIM Summer Summit, which united the AIM community for a collaborative and engaging experience.
